Getting started

From an empty folder to your site online, in four steps.

1. Install the tools: Hugo, Git and, for the recommended setup, Go.
2. Create your site and add Fieldnotes to it.
3. Write your first post.
4. Publish it on GitHub Pages, for free.

Each step takes a few minutes. If something goes wrong, Troubleshooting has the common problems.
